A few days ago Carter got a Highlights magazine in the mail. We don't know who signed him up for this magazine but if it was you..... thank you! He absolutely loves it! On Friday he carried it around the mall with him and today he insisted on taking it to church!!
In this issue there was a recipe for Mac and Cheese Muffins and he kept asking me if we could make them. So, since I had no plans for dinner tonight, I let Carter be the chef and we made them together. He had such a good time and even wore his own apron (thanks Stephanie).
I wouldn't suggest making these if you're having company coming over because they were really bland tasting but... if you have a kiddo that likes to help in the kitchen it was a simple recipe that had lots of opportunities for little hands to participate.
