Pool Party

Carter and I had a pool party in the backyard today to cool off in this awesome weather we've been having lately. It was our first time breaking out the pool this year and he's grown since last summer so he can't quite "swim" in the pool like he was able to before but he had a blast splashing around and thought it was hilarious to splash me. I love sunny weather in seattle!

One Month

We've made it past the one month mark of life with two kids on May 8th and I would personally like to give a HUGE hats off to all the mothers that have more than one child... I called my mom a few days ago half in tears asking her how in the world did she raise seven kids and stay sane!?! I totally took her for granted.

Carter has adjusted really well to having a baby brother. He is actually more patient with him than I am and doesn't seem to mind at all when he is crying. He is a really big helper and is learning to do alot of things by himself. I can't believe how fast he is growing!

Max is growing like a weed too and is starting to pack on the pounds. =)

Crunch time again

Those of you who have had a baby will understand....
A few days ago I was laying in bed on my back feeling my post pregnancy belly. You know... loose skin and squishy. Brandon rolled over and felt my stomache too and said in all seriousness and with a bit of awe in his voice... "it's softer than jell-o." Seriously?!?! did you really just say that?!?! All I could do was laugh! To be fair, Brandon is a very loving husband and he really is normally very sensitive in what he says.
I guess it's time to start in on the crunches again...
