Carter's second birthday was last Thursday (Nov. 13th). Brandon took the day off of work so we could spend the day as a family and basically have fun with Carter. It started out by Carter waking up with balloons all over his room. The weather decided to take a break from the rain luckily so we took him to the zoo for the first time. We went to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. He had a blast and LOVED all the animals. After he woke up from his nap we had apple sauce, macaroni and cheese and dino nuggest for dinner (birthday boy got to choose the menu). Kaylin Stephens, and Brooklyn and Devon Garcia (Carter's 3 best friends) came over for some ice cream and a birthday party that evening. I hope he enjoyed his birthday.... he seemed to. We're so blessed to have Carter as a part of our family. He brings so much joy into our home!Here's a link to some photos of Carter at the zoo and his party.
On a side note... we got a video camera for ourselves as our Christmas present to each other this year and ordered it early so we'd get it in time for Carter's birthday. The reason I'm telling you this is because you'll notice that the amount of actual photos that were taken have drasticaly reduced. We didn't even get a shot of him blowing out his candles.... but we got some great video footage. O well... ya got to give and take I guess. =0)
